Grant Sabean
Development Manager
Joining the Lown Institute in 2024, Grant brings his years of experience in nonprofit growth, fundraising, and organizing to the role of Development Manager. After serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Wisconsin Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, Grant spent years working as a development consultant in New York. His work focused on assisting several unions and nonprofits with their community organizing and fundraising efforts, as well as serving on several state and local political campaigns. Prior to joining Lown, he was previously the Director of Development and Communications at The Welcome Project, an immigrant advocacy organization that provided ESOL education and workforce development initiatives.
He received his BA in History from Marquette University, where he attended the Les Aspin Center for Government in Washington, D.C., and is currently working on his Masters in Public Administration at Northeastern University.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading history, and exploring the city.
